I am on disability and I have Medicare. But Medicare does not pay much of my medical bills. I am still in debt for hospital bills I have previously incurred. I have to see my doctor on a regular basis and after Medicare paid, I still owe over $300. I have high blood pressure, high cholersterol, diabetes, acid reflux disease, genetically inherited depression, low potassium, sleep apnea and my thyroid is out of whack. I recently had to buy another pair of glasses because my eyes had weakened. That was over $200. I, also, need dental surgery which Medicare does not pay for. And, also, I need hearing aids which Medicare does not pay for. I am not eligible for Medicaid and I cannot afford to buy supplemental insurance.
